“is…” is the debut album from the legend, the myth, the dynamic duo known as Jimmy Current. Comprised of 24 tracks carefully selected from a vast library of music, “is…” was designed from start to finish to take you on a journey—a literal roller coaster ride of emotion and tempo.
This album is the looking glass into the souls of JC, reflecting all sides of their multiple personalities. The compositions range from uptempo dance tracks designed for sexy booty shaking to slow, dark, brooding songs that might leave you a little concerned about JC’s mental stability.
By injecting an adrenal blend of synthesizers and guitars “is..” is (to date) Jimmy’s best overall representation of their combined musical tastes and styles. Always first-and-foremost focused on women, “is…” is heavily trodden with fighting, flirting, sex, love, and general relationship talk. Combine that with worldly views and basic life-struggling commentary and you get the gist of Jimmy’s thrust. A little rough around the edges, “is…” represents the distorted reality of the universe and society.
